Re: anyone have luck with aftermarket door hinges?
I bought 1 hinge from LMC. It fits perfect and was exact measurement of the other 3.

Glad to hear they might not be as bad as some repo parts! on a side note I also do most of my ordering through classicparts, even back when they were Chevy Duty. its amazing that companies like Brothers trucks have parts for sale at such an inflated price that when they run "SALES!!" there prices just come down to about what classicparts prices are year-round.... |

I replaced both driver's side hinges on my 58 with the ones from classicparts.com and they work great.

I rebuilt all 4 of mine and added a feature so as to not have to rebuild again. The factory had a grease feature and I added the finishing touch. Most probably have not been greased since they were new.

Re: anyone have luck with aftermarket door hinges?
Started on my dads truck recently and was considering suiciding the doors instead of buy stock hinge replacements.. this really makes me consider my options though.
