Re: what did you get done 10/02/2011 edition
I got an additional coat of color on the big block where it was kind of thin from the initial painting session. I was also waiting on a new CCW water pump & it showed up on Thurs afternoon. Unfortunately, they sent me a standard bbc CW water pump.
The rest of my weekend was spent @ the Good Guys Ft Worth TX show. Friday all day & then Sat through Sun afternoon.... We were tired when we finally got home but it was a good show w/great weather. Met several board members (plus their spouses) & enjoyed catching up w/old friends.

Good Guys shows are the best "large" car shows out there!

Re: what did you get done 10/02/2011 edition
I did the headlight-relay upgrade. I didn't change the lights themselves, but it made a significant difference with the existing halogen lights.
While I was under the hood and playing with wiring, I installed an ah-oooga horn that I bought a while back. I took the cheap route, so its sounds more like a submarine dive alarm than a Model A. Oh well, it will still get folks attention when I pull up to the picnic!
