Ok so yesterday I tackled both door panels, and my passenger side door. This is my progress...

#1 one is the door panel off and stripped.
#2 is painted with semigloss Rustolem over the self etching primer grey I like so much..
#3 is the masking for the detail off. Since I like the flat gray color, and I cannot find a semi gloss in this shade, I am thinking about shooting some clear coat over the primer and calling it good. Thoughts or potential problems with this idea anyone?
#4 is the door in all its grungy, carpet stripped glory.
#5 is the two reunited with the handles for show...

One thing I have noticed about graduating from plastic car models to classic vehicles, is I skin my knuckles alot more on than I used to.... sorry that was supposed to be funny.
