The same year cab should be same on a 3100 and a larger truck, year to year though all the cabs are not identical, 54-55 used a different windshield frame (1-piece, not split) somewhere around 53' the doors changed to one-piece windows, i think cowl vents changed through the years... but the Big trucks share the same cab as the small trucks

There are exceptions though, this GMC is for sale in my local area... I dont think it shares the same cab
