Sqarin' a Bed
I added a 3/4" plywood floor to replace the completely missing wood floor. I went to add the tail gate on only to notice a big gap at the top between the bed and tail gate. I measured the bed and found that it was an inch outta square. I was able to move the passenger side forward to gain 1/4" Now the drivers side needs to come back as close to 3/4" as possible. Trying to assemble the bed with the plywood was kinda like trying to build a piece of IKEA furniture without directions. How did you square your wood floor bed? BTW, the perimeter bolts are all removed and the plywood is bolted to the chassis.

cross measure the plywood, go corner to opposite corner, when you get the same measurement on both sides, you are square, good luck

just a little clarification, measure it like an "x", from corner to corner, when it measures the same both ways, you are there

Definately already did that. Thats how I know how far out it is. Shoving the passenger side to the front was easy but trying to get the dr's side back isn't.

may have to take the plywood out, square the bed and then cut a piece to fit

The plywood is two piece and cut nice and square. The real problem is that its sandwiched underneath the wheel housings and overlapping front and rear. I removed all the perimeter bolts and left the bed/chassis bolts on so that I could slide the bed over the plywood. In the end I guess I will have to take it apart again to square it up.
