Estimated horsepower?

What is the estimated hp on a 69 307ci?Stock heads,600 cfm carb,alum intake,headers,hei.Cam sounds alittle lopy but not sure.Thanks.

Go to the GM Heritage Center Archive http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...tion-kits.html and download the 1969 truck manual.

CE10 307 V8
Gross Horsepower 200 @ 4600 rpm
Net HP 150 @ 4000 RPM
Gross Torque 300 @ 2400 rpm
Net Torque 255 @ 2000 rpm

A lot depends on that cam, a big lopey cam will hurt more than help on that combo.

Thanks,kinda what I was thinking.Down the road the 290hp 350ci crate would be a very noticeable upgrade.

That's interesting: I had a 307 '71 SWB when I was 17. Did pretty much exactly the same mods to my engine as was done to yours: Corvette intake, 600 Holley, headers with glass packs and a mild cam. No matter what I did to it though, it never seemed to get any faster - it just got louder.

I don't have anything to go from,these mods were made by po.It has all the power I want but there is always room for improvement.
