1949 Inner Fender Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm doing a mock-up assembly on a 49 that I bought dis-assembled. Does the inner fender on the passenger side bolt directly to the lower firewall or is there a bracket something like the one on the drivers side? I replaced some of the metal in this area and can't tell for sure.

you are fine the barcket is for the emergency brake.

directly in firewall on pass. side

Thanks, the panel was bent a bit and didn't quite fit right but straightened it out and all is good.
