[QUOTE=Secret Squirrel;4060517]Sounds like the cars will be fine. Found a place that will haul them for $1000 a car enclosed trailer. It is a little cheaper for open trailer - three to four hundred.
I'm making the exact same move. What company did you find to ship them? |

Re: Moving to Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana?
Well it will be my one year anniversary in Shreveport on the 14th of October. I decided to leave the 442 and the 69 C-10 in Cali (Parents are "looking" after them).
Not having a classic car was driving me crazy, so I bought another. It is a 1960 Biscayne/El Camino conversion, mainly for the wife ... she is in love with it! It needs some work, but all in all it is a nice cruzer. So where do all you Shreveport, Bossier, Haughton, ect, ect locals meet up? Here are some details about the car: - Extended cab six seat belts - Third Gen (1980-ish) Camaro sub frame, disc breaks - Rear air shocks (fill/unfill from inside car) - 350 Chevrolet motor, mild cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock Air Gap/600 Carb w/electric choke, - Small Camel Hump Heads, Holly electric fuel pump - R700 4 speed with shift kit, Ford 9" read end - Long tube Headers, Flowmasters with new 2.5 dual exhaust - High torque mini starter, HEI, complete wiring kit (painless??/) uses newer style fuse box - Tilt steering column, Grant steering wheel power steering, working Tahoe electric 60/40 bench - two new stereos (one old school, one soon to be hidden CD/mp3 - New power steering pump, - Aluminum radiator with electric fan - Vintage cold air conditioning system with heat (works great) - Interior in great shape Previous owner claims motor/Trans rebuilt 22k miles ago (seems legit, runs like a raped ape) I cannot begin to tell how much fun this car is to work on (Autozone/O'Reily's/Advanced hate me LOL) Sir that is because it is not going to be in your computer ... not Biscaynes did not come from the factory with a Camero sub frame and Ford rear end!!! Looking forward to meeting all you (yall) Pics would not load from web site
