Re: Factory Tach Cluster

It wouldn't by chance be a 6 cylinder tach would it? I believe if there is a stamp on back of the tach that says if it is or not.
If so I might consider buying it

Re: Factory Tach Cluster

I'm not sure. Here are a couple more photos. Hopefully that helps.

On the back its says c6 1 70. Thats stamped on the circuit panel. The back of the tach itself reads... kinda hard to make it all out... 0168228.

Re: Factory Tach Cluster

I belive that the 6cyl tachs only go up to 4000 rpms. But I could be wrong.

Re: Factory Tach Cluster

6 cyl tachs are the same 5,000 rpm's on the front.

This one looks like it has an "8" on it. Usually it's a black stamp just to the left of the wire terminals on the back.

Re: Factory Tach Cluster

I think I see a 8 C stamp to the left if the terminals, so it wouldnt be a 6 cylinder. I do believe the 6 cylinders go up to 5 though

Re: Factory Tach Cluster

The stamping on the circuit on the right side of the tach is definitely a C6 1 70.
Don't know what it means, but I did want to clear it up since the photo isn't that close up of it.
