The thread will be differemt between the 82 & 93 so you'll need conversion lugnuts. They're available @ many hubcap places.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Where would that be. I can't, off hand, think of any place around here to find those conversion nuts

Re: Help on some rallys

It can be as easy as 1, 2, 3....

1) Go to Google (or any search engine)
2) Type in what you're looking for (I typed 'Chevy truck conversion lug nuts')
3) Start looking through the first several hits to see if anything listed works

This was within one of the first several hits....

They don't have the p/n 98-0006 linked from their site? You need external thread, 1/2", acorn seat, lug nuts.

The 93's are metric thread (14mm). An 82 would need 1/2" thread unless the 3/4 tons were 9/16" (that I'm not 100% sure about).

Edit* Another quick Google search says the 3/4 tons were indeed the larger 9/16" diameter. I went back to the same site & they have these listed....

Special GM OEM style 9/16" lug nuts with external threads. These lug nuts allow newer 90-99 Chevy/GMC wheels to put on 73-87 Chevy and GMC trucks. The internal thread is 9/16". Our application guide page will answer most of your application fitment questions but ask us for unanswered question. Sold in each piece.

Re: Help on some rallys

Can you post a pic of the wheel?

I'm not following when you say "8 lug rally off a 93".

Thanks in advance -

Re: Help on some rallys

Thank you.

It's not a very styled wheel, hence my confusion - but it does have a chrome ring and cap, so I guess that could make it a rally wheel...

Re: Help on some rallys

Paint them black, but leave the center caps and rings chrome. I love that look.
