Can I use Factory AC setup?
I am wondering if a person can keep the original factory air set up for AC? If not what are the options? I need to keep it cheap so No ac is ok. But since it came with it, why not have it?
If not anyone know what compressor it is? And if it would make a good on board air compressor?

Re: Can I use Factory AC setup?
You can keep it original. It's not hard at all to do. Look up Classic Auto Air. They can re-calibrate the POA valve for R134a. Or, you can buy a POA valve eliminator that will cycle the compressor on and off. Change your oil to ester (10-12 ounces i think), replace all o-rings, replace the drier and expansion valve, pull a vacuum for 30 minutes, and charge it up until the big line on the back of the compressor has sweat dripping off it. The compressor is an A6 BTW. They're pretty much bulletproof and can be used for OBA.
