Sound system?

Wondering what you guys have for non-stock sound systems. For my 88 I was thinking about doing 6 Soundstream SST6.9(6x9), two parallel above the rear wheel wells on the side panel, one in each door. Then 4 Soundstream SST4.0(4") in the dash. Then Classic Autosound Radio and a Soundstream TX1.2000D or TX1.2600D amp. What do you guys think? I dont like bass like the idiots you see on the road. I like to hear my music loud and not worry about my system. Where would you guys mount an amp that's 19-23" long, 9.5" wide and 2.5" thick? Show us your system!

Re: Sound system?

Even though you don't like to beat the doors off with bass you may still want to have at least some 8s in your system.... my .02. I've done a lot of research lately as I'm upgrading the system in my 89 Chevy Sub V1500. I think I'm going with JL audio C3s in each door, 2 10s in the back with some 3 inchers in the dash.

I'll see if I can find the thread where the guy had a NICE setup.

Re: Sound system?

jeffg1010 has a REALLY cool setup. His sub is a little earlier than ours but sick nonetheless. here's the link to the thread where I found his pics, but most of the pic links for his sub are broken maybe you can get in touch with him and ask you to send them to you.
