FS 68-72 swb fleet box in Saskatchewan

For Sale 68-72 SWB fleet box in Saskatoon. Box is moderately rough but very restorable considering the extreme rarity in this part of the country. No gate. Lower drivers front has rust out and dr rear has a good start on being cancerous. Pass side is much more solid and both sides are quite straight. Pass rear lower has a ding and there is some evidence of what appears to have been mild repairs due to dings around the tail lights. Floor has cancer in most of the cross supports and typical cancer in the steel floor. Inners are quite straight but it has typical cancer where the wheel tubs bolt on. With a few pieces from a LWB doner box this would be a no brainer to fix up. I will post a few pics but I can e-mail more out if required. Price is $500.00 Canadian obo or I would trade for a very straight zero or very near zero rust LWB bed. No shipping but might consider delivery in Western Canada if a LWB bed meeting my requirements is for trade.

Yah sorry I couldn't visit but I had a rented trailer and a tight time table. Man that was some hot hot hot weather to haul that stuff in with no A/C. I almost melted. We also got detoured around the Hudson Bay forest fire and ended up doing about 100 miles of gravel behind a semi doing 45 MPH. It was He11.

Howard has tons and I mean TONS of old stuff. He has a bit of our stuff too. For example he has a very rough 4 x 4 3/4 ton for 800 Canadian that he wants to get rid of. Others too.

The frame I got has a few small issues but nothing serious at all and will fix up to be real sweet. The box is a bit rough but considering the virtual non existance of them around here I figure it's worth a few bucks in Saskatchewan. It cost me a bundle to get the stuff back here. Thanks again for the heads up as I have been trying to find a SWB frame around here for 10 years. See you next weekend for Crusie Weekend. Let me know when you are coming.

Yeah, Howard has a pretty big collection of cool stuff. I need to get down there and visit him for a few parts one of these weekends.

Looks like we will be driving in on Saturday morning. So maybe we should try to meet up at SIR that night. Do you know what time the alcohol funnies are starting at?
