I have a box floor out of wood but no strips in between. I can email pics but dont know how to post them. Anyways i was wondering if anyone thought i would be better off with a piece of checkerplate back there or if they had any other suggestions?

Re: Box Floor

Yep if you plan on hauling firewood or scrap iron the diamond plate is ok but most of the truck guys who have wood beds like to run some good looking varnished wood. The Strips are available new from the truck goodie suppliers in painted, ss or chrome and some guys have used strips of flatbar for the strips.
