82 Chevy Suburban. 6.2 diesel 3/4 ton 4x4. Turbo 400 with the trailering package. It has a 8 lug 14 bolt rear, sf im almost sure. What are the options for rear gears. I know the only way to know is to count the ring and pinnion or to mark the driveshaft and rotate but im just curious what are the options?

It does not list your combination exactly, but is your option list still in the glove box?

Correct. There should be a sticker in the glove box that shows all the options when it was new. If it has the original rear end, it will be mentioned in that list.

I have a 89 3/4 ton suburban with a 350/400 combo and It has the 14 bolt semi floater with factory 4:10's and a G80 locker.

I have never seen anything other than 4:10's and 4:56's in 3/4 ton suburbans with a 400 transmission.
