Any pictures or ideas on paint scheme? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've been thinkin about what kind of paint scheme I want, and I've come up with a few ideas, the look would be mostly stock, only the truck is slammed, all stock trim would be used, here are a few of my ideas: all bright red; bright red and white 2-tone; maybe burghundy and white 2-tone, hugger orange and white 2-tone; and hugger orange. Basically it would be a pretty much factory-looking paint job, not just because I like the look of that kind of paint job, but also because I think it would probably be quite a bit cheaper, and easier to do that a big, complicated, show-paint job.

Tell me what your ideas and opinions are, and if anybody has any pics of the suggested paint schemes could you please post them for me? Let me know.

I found a pic of one of the schemes I suggested...Oh yeah, and just so you guys know, the truck I have in mind for this paint job is a 79 c-10.

friend of mine had a 1980 GMC that came from the factory with burgandy where the white is on the pic you posted... it looked real nice when he polished it up
