Measurment please with 15" rim and 4/6 drop.

Can someone who has 15" rims and a 4/6 drop please measure from the bottom of your fender lip to the center of your hub in the front and the rear. Please let me know what you have.

Thanks Restrorob I do remember you posting that before but I still needed a measurement for the back and I figured I would throw it out again and see if anyone had anything different. Thanks again.

OK, I measured my altered rear fender and compared it to my non-altered replacement bed. I found the flairs dropped the opening by one inch, Sooo It looks like if I had the stock bed on the truck now I'd have 16 1/2" hub center to fender lip......

Thanks. Do you feel that your truck sits even or higher in the back? I know that most 4/6 drops should even out the truck but not sure if the fender lips in comparson to the center of the hub are even or not.

Re: Measurment please with 15" rim and 4/6 drop.

My back does sit a little higher but it's not enough that I'm gonna worry about right now, That will be taken care of when I get the tucked steamrollers and other bed on.

Nice truck Restrorob. What kind of drop do you have on your truck? What I am trying to figure out is if my truck acutally dropped 6" in the rear or if I went more then 4" in th front. Right now my truck sits higher in the rear then the front by about 2". I have 4" drop leaf springs and 2" shackles in the rear but many have said that the drop leaf springs don't really drop it a true 4". I am wanting to possibly get stock springs and shackles to do a flip kit. I just wanted to make sure that I am not already at the same height as what I would get with a flipkit. There was another member that had the same issue and went with a flip kit and then the truck acutally sat level. I guess every truck reacts to a drop a little different compared to the next truck. Thanks for all your help.

Re: Measurment please with 15" rim and 4/6 drop.

Thanks !

What's your measurement on the back now with the drop springs ?

About the only way to know for sure how much drop you achieved would be to measure before and after drop components have been installed.

My rig has a Beltech kit under it, 2" spindles and 2" springs with a 6" flip and C-notch. But..... Mine had a 4.3 before the BB was installed so may be lower by a inch or more from stock ride height, It may be a little difficult to get good idea with my altered rig but hopefully the info has helped a little.....
