power brake booster on s10 layin frame.
I have a 52 on a s10 frame. I want to put my booster and brake stuff on the frame. I'm worried that I won't have room to run my exhaust and still lay frame. Any pictures or help from someone who has done this would be greatly appreciated.

I run a booster on my disk/disk. but Im lazy haha. as little effort as possible. If I get excited and mash the pedal I will go through the windsheild.

I'm going to run a booster. When I was thinking about putting it on the frame I thought no booster might give me alittle more room to run my exhaust. Lazy makes 2 of us.

Re: power brake booster on s10 layin frame.
a hydroboost is smaller then most brake boosters... more reliable then the small aftermarket boosters too...
will the exhaust still fit by? eh, its tight. you can either make it work, or go around under the oil pan and have both exhausts on the other side of the truck (like a 3rdgen camaro) |

Re: power brake booster on s10 layin frame.
On mine, I used a X pipe and I think going that route you would have plenty of room to fit a small booster set up. Sorry that I don't have a good left side picture for you see. And I looked throught to build but didn't see a picture of how your set up is for placement of your cab and such. My running boards are quite lower than my frame so if I was layin frame they would hit first and the actual S10 frame never touch pavement allowing room to fit your exhaust.
Best of luck. |

Re: power brake booster on s10 layin frame.
My frame hits just before my running boards hit. I decided to go with the ounder dash set up. I'll let you know how it all works out. I'm sure there will be some things to work out. I like your exhaust set up.
