Good place to get original bed bolts?
I want to replace my bed bolts. I prefer original ones. Can anyone recommend a good place to get them?

I went with galvanized carriage bolts from the Home Depot... the only two I kept were the long ones that go through the leaf spring perches.

I agree there is no difference between home depot or lowes bolts as compared to the ones that ayone else sells

When I was doing my resto last winter I could still buy gm bolts from the dealer. I was a little worried to put reg carraige bolts in because they were only grade 2 . In the event of a accident they could shear and the bed fly off. It was my understanding that the original bed bolts were a lot stronger.

I got some from a true value store in an industrial area near shipyards and truckers...I matched them up by eyeballing them. Classic parts always has good stuff.
