Summitt 350 motor....

Has anyone bought one of these motors from summitt ? it is a 350 with a 3 yr warranty or 50,000 miles ? I am looking at maybe getting one for the 1972 and would like to hear everyone's thoughts on it. Thanks in advance Cliff

Are you asking about the GM crate motors they sell? Not bad for the price.

Here is another place that sells them cheaper. They carry the performance and goodwrench motors.

Scoggin Dickey......$1279.99 + 100.00 core + 195.00 freight to Penna=$1574.99 (no tax).*

Summit.....$1495.95 + 8.45 handling + shipping (100.00-145.00 depending on weight and where it's delivered to) or a drive to the Akron area + sales tax (around 90.00) no core charge.*

Check with some local GM dealers. You might find the prices pretty close (and the money stays local).

*These prices are estimates. Check with a company sales representative for more exact prices and other charges.
