Lokar Radical 32
Noticed there wasn't much (or any) pictures up of the Lokar "Radical 32" shifter. Here's some reference pictures so you can see how it looks in the cab and how high it goes. I'm STOKED on it, but i'm a nerd for this sorta stuff.

Re: Lokar Radical 32
I like it! I was thinking about using one of these in my 68. It has a B&M ratchet shifter in there now, but its way to short and killing my back to use. I think you just sold me on it. I've been waiting for someone to post a pic of one of these in a 67-72 so i could see what it looked like. Is there any tricks or installation tips you can share or was it pretty easy? My truck is a 68 C-10 with a TH-400, low hump. Joseph

hahahahahaha yes, my dash is a MESS. Excuse the halfway torn off dash pad, drunken shop night was to blame for that Glad you like it man. There are really no tricks. I used this link to show me how to put the bracket together with the right orientation. The instructions aren't bad that come with the shifter, but the lack of pictures make it hard to understand in a few instances. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=474129 Also, you will have to modify the tunnel cover somewhat. It doesn't come up where the stock sm465 shifter did, so i'm going to cut and bend a plate, weld the original hole shut, and replicate it 5" or so back so that i can use the stock shift boot as well. Thanks for all the comments guys, glad you dig it. |
