Air Bag Question

Is it possible to run air bags on 20's without cutting bed and front wheel wells? If not what is the largest diameter possible with this configuration.

I couldn't tell you what's the largest diameter you can use without cutting, but I'm running 255/45X20s on 20X8s, front and rear. With bags dumped, I have about 1/2" clearence from the top of the tire to the fender in front and 1 1/2" in back. It is fully drivable when dumped, but only on really smooth surfaces, otherwise it tends to shake your fillings loose.

My setup is a little different: While most board members have used drop spindles, my truck already had dropped lower A-arms, about a 2 1/2" pocket (and no bumpstops), so I didn't bother changing. Also, I understand the stepsides have a 'bit' less space in the rear for wide tires; you could likely go a bit wider - 275? 285? on a fleetside.

You can go low but it will sit about the height of the other truck in this post. You might want to go with 18's and a small tire- check out the 65 pickup on my website- www.dragginbycustoms.com - that truck has got a small hole in the bed so imagine the rear sitting up another 2 inches. Hope this helps.
