My 54 project

Spent the day working in earnest, got the new floor in on the drivers side and the pass side partially cut out. Not to bad for my first attempt at doing floorboards. I used 18 ga. metal for the floor. To bend the pieces I used 2x4 and L channel for the straight lines and using a small ball peen hammer and time for the bends! Some day I'll maybe have a metal break. sure would have saved time. I used body panel adhesive to join everything and a few screws to hold till it sets. May put in some pop rivets in there place when I take them out.

Can anyone give measurement as to where to cut for the shifter. I'm using a T-5 hooked to the 292. Like to make one piece the covers the pass side and the trans. or is this a bad idea?
