454 tbi to 350 swap....need a bit of help

OK....this question is mainly about hooking up everything. Have a 94 burb that had a 454 tbi and was swapped to a 350....have sensors and stuff from the 454 but I am running into a snag with the EGR valve....the 454 used the newer style with a 5 pin connector. But the 350 uses the older style EGR. I am trying to not change the computer or harness since I am using the larger TBI on the 350. Is there a way around this? Would leaving the connection unhooked cause an error? would swapping to the 350 computer fix this to where I can just leave the connection on the harnes alone?
