Torqe spects for 65 Rear end U Bolts
Anyone know how many ft lbs of torqe are required for these large 3/4" Ubolts that hold the rear axle in place on the 65 c10 1/2 ton?

i dont know how paranoid you may be about some things some people are more than others. I am currently changing the rearend in my truck and i plan on doing what i have always done in the past just tighten them down with the impact and call it good i have never had issues with any rear end done like that.

Torque specs are based on the fastener size, and there's a reason to use them. Personally, I don't want to fly or drive something built with an impact wrench and who knows what air pressure setting.
The value you are looking for is: 135-165 Ft/lb Thats from the factory assembly manual.
