Re: Resale thoughts

I have to vote black or red for solid colors.

In two-tones I vote red/white, black/white/, or blue/white.

I like factory trim & carbed motors.

Lowered is a bonus & wheels too but everyone has different taste in wheels.

Re: Resale thoughts

The auctioneers will tell you red is the best seller. I like most colors when done right except yellow, purple, or orange. 2 tone adds a sharp touch.

I'm doing a 67 front end and my cab has the paint trim separator on it. I'm thinking about from the cab trim up to the top of the roof white...not on the door pillars or a-pillar. Trying to decide if I paint the grille white or body color.

Thats a tough call because it looks great either way. But for my tastes (not that it matters lol) I like the grill white like the cab top.

I think on lighter colors the grill looks good white, on darker colors same as the body.

Re: Resale thoughts

The trucks i would drop money on are factory colors, full trim, and dropped on modern wheels. Some of the bagged trucks that are stock colors make me drool with a factory color that I would have never thought about.

You also could pull the wheels and put rally's on and reach another group of buyers.

Re: Resale thoughts

orange/white 2 tone is my fave --------- its eye catching, but different than red. Interior for an orange truck could be black or brown or tan

but again -- i might be a tad biased

Re: Resale thoughts

Orange is a tough call on resale, Because people either love it or hate it.

Blue and White, classic two tone. This has always been my dream truck.
