Rear control arm bushings
I am going to put some new bushings in my rear control arms. Already did poly urathane in my 73-87 front arms.
Is poly good for the rear? I thought I saw someone selling a johnny joint style, soild type bushing for them as well.

Energy Suspension bushings will work fine.

The sleeves have to be reused. Any tips for getting the old stuff out?

take a drill and drill some holes through the rubber and they will come out easy

Thanks for the tips. I am going to try drilling today, I thought about that last night, but didn't feel like trying it.
Melted one with a torrch for awhile and it got me nowhere.

From the reading ive done on here. Other members have complained that the Poly bushings squeak alot. Just an FYI.

No worries about squeaks from me. My Iroc has poly from and solid/hiem joints in the rear. As stated, I alreay swapped all the front stuff in the c10 to 74-87 stuff with all poly bushings, lowered, etc... a little firmness or squeak is okay with me, the lube they sell for them should clear up most of them anyway.

I picked up some from a gm dealership with the sleeves. So theyre still avail.
