That must have hurt the deer. Most important that must have hurt you. I think I would go nuts if my truck got involved in an accident. Are you going to rebuild it? I hope so, that truck looked great before the accident. I just saw a picture of your truck in the “Post your ride” thread.

yea ive been working on it for a while, it gave me an excuse to change out the lower n upper aframes and put some polyurathane bushings in( the lower aframes were bent due to hill hopping, aslo there off a 77 chevy) nothing was bent up to bad the hood and the core support plus the grill but nothing else was bent or broke, i got the hood core support and the old plastic grill(wire up version ) for free and now ive gotta come up with a motor cause the 7th piston chipped and it grooved a rut in the cylinder and the compression is leaking into the crankcase which it producing whats in the pic. even tho this was a junkyard special its been a real good truck

Now thats some blow-by! Ouch! Good luck with the new motor, and your new front end. I am in deer country myself but have been lucky so far. Keeping my fingers crossed. Glad your O.K. I hope bambi ended up in the freezer!
