LED taillights

724x4a/cchevy hasn't been on the board since 07/10, really wanted a set of his LED taillights. Any other good ones out there?

Re: LED taillights

I've seen other vendors selling some that look like his but not sure of the quality. I'll see if I can find the link again...I saw a setup the other day but forgot to save the link so not sure which vendor

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Did you have to change your flasher with the LEDs?

Re: LED taillights

early classic enterprises has one that seems just like the one on a link above, customclassicdotcom...
here is the text on early classics' web page...
The LED panels are custom made to fill the inside of each specific tail light housing to maximize the effect when the lights are on. The 1967-’72 inserts feature a whopping 156 individual bulbs per panel! Compare that to the small LED replacement bulbs that have a mere 10 LED’s and you will see the difference immediately. Electronic Flasher(04-FLASH) recommended with all LED lights.
These look pretty kewl...

These are the best I have seen.

Very bright when you hit the brakes.

that'd be kinda hard to do as the backup light is separated by the sheetmetal between....you'd have to ditch the top back up light and have a one piece rectangular lens with a clear panel with white leds...

Most of the time you do....led's have such a low draw on the system that most stock flashers wont flash without load. You either need something like a load equalizer or a solid state flasher on most set ups.

I seem to recall MuscleRodz had 'em. He's on the site, too. http://www.musclerodzstore.com/lighting_16.aspx

Re: LED taillights

I bought 2 sets from Classic parts and they work great. Just plug 'em in, no need for any special flashers.

I think I paid $65 per pair and have been using them for well over a year now with no troubles. (knock on wood)
