Man I would love to have something like that. If it was closer I would check it out. It would combine my love of old cars and trucks and camping.

It's in Michigan, that rust may be worse than it looks. I like the interior though.

Probably true, I grew up in Michigan and lived there for 35 years also. But to have rockers in that kind of condition tells me that the truck stayed home out of the salt in the winter. Michigan salt can eat a truck in under ten years, I've seen it happen(to me!). This one appears to have only gone out on summer trips, as you might expect of a camper. I think she's beautiful.

This is rare: a guy from California wants a vehicle from Michigan! Usually it's the other way around!

True, Gokart, thats funny! But I grew up about 50 miles from where this truck is and I am floored by the condition of the rockers on a truck from that area. I know what usually happens there and it didnt happen to that one. Plus, I need a camper.

Is the one in Riverside CA still for sale? It was in the for sale section a while back.

Re: seems cool for the price, not mine

Thanks guys, I checked out that GMC. Pretty cool but a too big for what I have planned for it, plus Im not crazy about the "bus" shape. And, it doesnt have the walk thru into the cab. I will probably end up buying a small one to go in the back of my truck or maybe build one.

Anyone want to pick that up and bring it to Jersey for me. LOL. I have been watching and trying to decide if I trust it enough to make a 700 mile drive home.

That interior struck me too. I like the white with green door panels and bucket seats.

Re: seems cool for the price, not mine

Look at the rust on the firewall. Looks like its getting pretty bad. And there is a spot down on the below the vent on the drivers side.
I really Hope someone saves it.
And that steering wheel is very clean! Looks crackless. lol
