"custom" custom trim
my version of the custom rear window cab trim. had the skinny bed trim piece and thought of an idea, if i cant have the real trim, ill have the fake trim. don;t wory the strip was prety banged up. not perfect but looks good from far

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, but I was thinking it want g going to line up well on the thickness and hadn't confirmed that yet. What do you think? MAR-K sells nice individual pieces.

The original is rounder as this is flat. That is a great idea, looks good. Gives a nice finish to the back of the cab. Can we get a view of the joint please.

Not too bad. With a little tweaking (and trimming), you could probably trim down the "Custom" trim end so the bed trim can fit inside it. Not for sure how the original trim was. If it just butted up or fit inside.
Looks sharp though!

Actually the sails were tapered where the exposed screw fastens on the tailpiece, then the molding covered the screw and sat flush.
