73 C20 frame vs 67 C20 frame - width same?

I am interested in knowing if the width of the frames is the same, or different?
I have a 67C20 and I'm thinking of installing a hidden gooseneck hitch. They are made for 73 and above. Could anyone please give me a frame width measurement at ~6" forward of the rear axle? That will be most helpful.
Thank you.
