They are very hard to come by and unless you get lucky with the aftermarket pieces you will spend at least that much trying to get the re-pops to fit properly. I have heard horror stories about fenders from various parts houses being up to 1/4" too short!

Bear this in mind, body panels will always need some fitment regardless of weather they came from the factory or not. The difference is how much time and money you will have to spend to get them to fit correctly!

These so called gm authorized fenders are made by the same companies that supply us, they are the same. Whom ever you sold them to over paid. you will see several GM part sites selling them

That's doubtful since I purchased the fenders from the individual who originally ordered them from a Chevrolet dealership in CT over 20 years ago.

Im sure you would like to believe they are the same quality as your so called american made reproductions but I doubt it.

As for what the person paid that is really his prerogative and im sure he wouldn't appreciate your condescension. Anyway who made you the authority!
