dying seat belts
Is there a thread about doing this or does anyone have any pointers? Thanks Randy

There is a thread around here for dying seat belts, but I don't have link at hand. I found it one day while doing a search.
Basically it said to clean the seat belts and use Ritz Dye. If you are going back to more or less the same color it is easier. I will be doing it on a set of blue ones trying to get them to turn out black so I think I will clean them first, lighten them and the use two dye packets to dye them black.

I tried it Randy, couldn't get the color right. Might work to freshen up black, otherwise my opinion is it doesn't work.

I died a pair of light blue ones black. If memory serves (it's been 12 years since i did this), I had to do it 3 times before they looked decent. Three years later (dailydriver) they were gray with hints of blue and looked like crap.
