I have a 72 C10 that I got from my father in law. It has a ZZ3 crate motor with a B&M blower on it, the only problem it doesn't fit under the stock hood. I just barely misses closing. I am looking for a cowl hood for it also a low profile air cleaner. I was just picking your guys minds on who makes the best one. I want to keep steel.

There is only one company producing stamped steel cowl hoods for the 67-68 Chevy/GMC and 69-72 Chevy/GMC. Triplus is the manufacture. The hood is sold under many different companies. WES

I am running the B&M 144 blower in my truck and am using the stock hood. I have a drop base K&N air cleaner and a 1" spacer under my carb. It is a tight fit but nothing touches.

I am told it has a B&M 250 blower on it, but it touches that is why I am looking for a cowl induction hood, plus I have always liked the look of them on these trucks. Which K&N air cleaner do you have? Also Wes would Goodmark be one of those companies?

It will be coming to my work's warehouse and I'll be in touch soon about the hood, looks good and just as good as price as anywhere else.
