Advice for the new.

So this is my first project vehicle, and I came in to it knowing I'd be way over my head since I have little to no knowledge of vehicles. I decided to buy the truck (66 chevy c20) anyway so I have something to learn on. Does anyone have any advice, good links for information, or anything ideas on where to start? I bought what I have in fairly decent condition, some minor body faults, some issues I know of here and there, and some I think may be around in the future, but any tips could be useful.

Re: Advice for the new.

Hey thanks for the response. Do you know where I could get my hands on an owners manual digital or otherwise and possibly a repair manual?
I think reading those and seeing the diagrams would likely be helpful in learning about my truck
