Opinions/Facts of aftermarket body panels

I am looking at some aftermarket body panels rather than spending the time to take the dents and the holes drilled from the camper, and filling the '68+ side markers that came from the factory on my 67 , and filling the stake pockets. Didnt know if they are worth the money or if it would be worth my time to fix the originals. There is NO rust not even surface or light rust anywhere on the stock ones just the issues stated above. Let me know what you think of them and problems that you have encountered with the aftermarket ones. Thanks

How bad are the dents? Generally I'd rather knock out dents/weld holes shut than weld in a whole new panel.

Dents are not major just in bad spots,like on edges. the biggest part that I dont want to deal with is the small wave in the body line behind the rear fenders to the rear, and where the holes were drilled.

I had a guy tell me: "If you can buy a new aftermarket hood for $300 or a dented OEM hood for $1000, buy the OEM hood". I just replaced the front bed panel in my '69, it was bent/bowed. When I unbolted the old, bent panel, it slid out all by it's self. To install the new "straight" panel I had to elongate bolt holes, trim the bed sides and wrestle it into place. I have a new tail gate from the same vendor...I can only hope it will be better.
