Insulation?

Replacing the insulation under my carpet as it was moist and falling apart, bought a roll from pep boys for 30 bucks, one sides foil, one sides foam, anyone know which side goes up!? Im thinking foil up but theres so many different opinions im getting confused.

Foil side up. That's how I installed mine. I ordered sound deadener and insulation from Second Skin, and the instructions said foil side up.
