you guys with bodywork and welding skills are very fortunate. I bought a brand new welder and plazma cutter. Never used them.

Re: This is what i got done so far

I really cant say i have welding skills, never had any training but i just thought if i am going to rebuild trucks i need to do it all. So i started doing my own metal work, body work, painting and engine rebuilding. With the prices the people get to do this is high. Which i can understand why when it comes to this work. It is time consuming when it is done right. and they deserve it. Also i enjoy it, Its like putting a puzzle together if if does not line up something is not going to fit right sooner or later and that sucks. Trust me i have been there more times that i want to say and had to redo it. I cant stand if something is out of place and not fitting right. Even if it is hidden i know its there and i cant do that and let it go.

Re: This is what i got done so far

Above poster stated something about being fourtunate being able to weld and do bodywork, I think he may be right. I own a body shop and have for a long time, and to me there is nothing more peaceful than dropping the faceshield on the welding helmet and going into my own personal space, almost the same way with a DA sander . Very peaceful
