WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Here is a picture of spark plug heat shields. These are the only 2 that I have. Could someone tell me what side these are for by looking at the photo? I think I'm missing 2 for a '72 Cheyenne 350 A/C. I believe there are 4 of these. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm looking for replacements in very good condition since they're for a restoration:

Mystery #2--I have one of these. Do I need 4 of these and are they different from side to side?

I will need the bolts and lock washers, too. Thanks, Casey

Re: WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Picture #1- you need four shields, My truck has 2 shields with the holes, and 2 without. The ones with the holes are for the temp. sender to go through into the head.

Picture # 2- You need just 2 of these.

I can get you a photo of these on a motor if you need it.

Your picture #2: you only need 2 of those. You can get them from LMC truck, that is where I got mine.

Re: WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Tim -- thanks, that would be great. When you post the pictures, I know the one with the holes go on the sending units on both sides (oil and temp), but confused about the other two. Also, someone posted that you only need 2 wire retainer brackets (picture #2). Where do these bolt to on each side? I thought there would be 4.

I don't want to get aftermarket ones--prefer originals that I'll clean up.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks, Casey

Re: WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Hi Tim...I don't need the spark plug retainers, but I would like to buy the heat shields. Could I just purchase the shields and if so, how much? Also, if you look at my picture #2, I'm looking for 1 spark plug retainer as shown. Do you have one of those? Thanks, Casey

Re: WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Hello Paul...I know it's a good price but I don't need the 3 spark plug brackets--the ones I have are in good condition. But what I do need are those spark plug heater shields. My pictures above are of my own spark plug heater shields, and I actually only need 2.

I bought a door tonight for the right side of my project from a member here. Nice to make friends. It was a fair price for door, which was in really good condition. I think the Mrs. and me will be going to the big swap meet in Dallas this year, and if you're there, we'll meet up and get us a rootbeer and a moon pie Casey

You're second picture, the clip goes with (bolts up with) the sheild. Holds the two wires to the front.

In the first picture, the sheild on the right - you should have another one opposite. You can tell which one goes on the driver's side because that half oval space near the center is for the dipstick to sit in.

Re: WTB Spark Plug/Heat Shield/Wire Retainer

Didn't mention in my first post, the clip in the second picture, you need 2 of them. One for each side, front, mounts up with the front shields.
