Re: 1969 C20 Lowered Custom

Love your progress bro. quick question- I know you don't want to, but what does it take to lay frame with this truck? I have a '68 frame under my truck. do you need a Z or drop member? or can it lay with stock xmember setup? what did you cut on your xmember exactly?

I Sunk the frame rails into the crossmember 2.5" would have to ask someone who went lower how they did it. Probably have to get lowered xmember , I am not a fan of zing. The rear is simple, just add lower block to get on ground, with notch and shock relocate of course. Oh, and cutting bed floor and everything else.

Did you cut the frame and move up mounting point or chop the crossmember? Also what rims are those?

notched the crossmember so the frame rails would sit lower. The wheels are 18" 8 lugs off a dodge 3/4 ton.
