1972 4X4 Short Bed for sale (not mine)

http://www.streetsideclassics.com/sh...-Chevrolet-K10

Someone needs to jump on this thing. The paint while a different two tone is totally what sells me on it if only I had the money.

That truck has been on Ebay several times..if your thinking about buying it just be carefull..depending on what state you live in you could have some trouble. If you look at the vin tag its clearly titled as a 2 wheel drive truck, its had a frame swap at some time.

Looks like an attempt at a factory medium olive poly/grapefruit paint job but the colors are wrong. Looks pretty cool and surely none other like it that I've seen. Too bad it's not a low production original, though

I see a homemade welded body lift.

It looks nice... but I don't think it's exactly ethical, and maybe it's even illegal to advertise it as a K. It didn't use to matter so much, but things have changed with today's collector culture and the crazy high prices some of these trucks sell for. No matter how well it was put together, that truck is most definitely worth less than if it were a factory K model, so it should be identified for what it is: C-10/K-10 replica.

It's a nice truck. If you are going to sell a truck for $20,000 it should have a little more detailing. A few things need to be re-painted and cleaned up. At least wipe the dripping gear oil from the diff. before taking a pic. It does look like it has some nice parts.

Nice truck, nice parts, nice intentions, poor execution. It looks like every 'custom' 4x4 I see at the mud hole only with a really nice paint-job and some armor-all.

Maybe it's an authentic SWB K/10 with a 2wd cab swapped due to rust issues. I'd have to look that one over to see how it was done. It may be the real short K/10 frame but w/o the CK VIN it's being original is lost forever.
