The 71 with all terrain tires orange color and on the step side there are no steps I have purchased the trk from the Ins company and would like to find out the history from the owner Also if you look at the bed its only 5 1/2 feet long wondering if anyone knows if this could be stock or was it cut down ?

Looks like it may be on a blazer frame

Definitely not stock. But it is a good looking truck. I agree with Clyde, looks to be a cab on a Blazer frame and a cut down box. I'd measure the wheel base and see it it matches up to a Blazer.

Re: K10 5 1/2 foot bed

It appears that picture was saved off the internet by a member here who I haven't seen post for a while. It was either an Ebay listing or other sale post and it seems it was located at a dealership. The truck is definitely a pickup cab w/shortened bed to fit on the Blazer frame. You've bought it from an insurance company? How did it end up in their hands? A wreck, theft recovery? Just curious.

Re: K10 5 1/2 foot bed

It was caught in Flood , ( fresh water ) I had to change out the starter Also flushed out the Tran and Oil, Greased all the fittings . Sprayed all the electrical down below with a rust buster just in case . The paint was changed to a Brighter Orange just prior to the water damage 1971 Hemi orange Not the color in the pic . Like I said though starts and goes down the road very straight and smooth ,I'm thinking the prior owner put so much time and money in to it that when it happened he had , had enough and took the money and ran , Looking for his next project ,

I did look up the blazer measurements 104/106" Vs the K10 @ 115 " I will have to get out the tape and let you know how I make out
