The white vinyl is the same as they use in boats.............I think its pretty weatherproof

sorry, should've been more specific on my part...i was actually referring to the edges & how it fits flush down into the bed instead of lipping over...i like how yours fits inside the bed, which is why i ask....once again, nice work!
