Antique Shops and Truck Parts

I pass by an antiques shop fairly often and saw a driver side front fender leaning against the wall for a 69-72 chevy truck .Anyone else ever seen truck parts at an antique shop ,I wonder if they want more .It would eliminate the hassle of shipping for those of you selling parts. Unfortunately I keep buying parts that I dont even need .

i 've seen stuff in quite a few unusual places. a good way to find out about them is if you see then stop and ask you never can tell if the one thing you see is just the tip of the iceberg

Found this at an old shop thats been closed up, part of a historical society now. Still had items in it like an eight foot ceramic delco sign old snowmobiles and old quaker state can and the wire rack for them.

Awesome..This pic reminds me of all the Antique shops over in Old town Orange,ca. They have Old pickups from like 30's40's sometimes just sitting in some of the shops in the back.

Re: Antique Shops and Truck Parts

A year ago I rebuilt the 2bbl Stromberg on a 305 V6... bought the kit at NAPA for $23. A week later I pass by an 'automotive' wall in an antique shop. There, still in its plastic shrink wrap with cardboard backing, is a rebuild kit for a WW Stromberg from 1961 or so... $6.95.

Re: Antique Shops and Truck Parts

I saw a 67 Chevelle SS hood at a kind of uppity store on the rich side of town. They wanted a couple hundred bucks for it. This is the same store I bought a 68-70 car poverty cap ( copo cap ) for $15.

Re: Antique Shops and Truck Parts

I bought a brand new in box, never installed Spotlight with Mounting bracket at an antique store for 25 bucks. Two weeks later I found another one, brand new in box that I had not seen before, attached on the back side of the chrome mirror housing is a round mirror. I guess it was in the event you removed your mirror to install the spot light.
