Power steering conversion questions...
OK, simple but i tend to overthink things sometimes. My 68 swb, project Cheap Bastard, is a manual steering truck. Looking to buy a donor truck with power steering. Can I just switch gearboxes and pitman arms and of course mount the pump and be in business?? Thanks.

Re: Power steering conversion questions...
68/72 donor ..Yes..hardest part you may run into will be the pulley alignment..But if your donor has a long / short water pump like yours it will be an easy conversion. It is the mixing of pulleys that create the issues. Good Luck!

Re: Power steering conversion questions...
Hey Sammy. Thanks for the input. That is what I thought. The brackets are for small block and my truck is big block but that is an easy fix. Thanks again, Fred.
