Does anyone have any suggestions or know of someone that makes an aftermarket cruise control kit for an LS3?

do you have the Drive By Wire throttle body? If so, its just a matter or wiring up some sort of switch to make it all work. The hard stuff is already there.

Ls3's are usually not that easy. In more recent years the cruise is controlled by the BCM. What is the engine out of? What PCM are you using and also what OS?

I bought the engine new from the Chevy house along with the ECM. Thanks for the help.

On my TPI conversions, I use the mid 90s up style GM cruise control. It is a simple wire hookup. All you need is a 4000 pulse per mile signal which is usually available from the PCM as a speedometer signal or a radio speed signal.

The ones I have done are throttle by cable. On throttle by wire I don't know but I think it would be very similar.

For throttle by cable it's just stock Cruise Control for most mid 90's up GM cable throttle cars and trucks. The hookup is simple. Ground, ignition switched, 4000 pulse/mile, brake, then the wires from the switches on the column (on, set, resume). I have done a few of these. Mid-90s trucks have an almost stand alone harness that just plugs into the cruise module, fuse box, brake switch, and column switch.

The hardest part of the swap is finding throttle body brackets for your application. I have used a Vortec truck one, it has a long cable. I have used a TBI truck one, it has a short cable. I have used a Cutlass Ciera type and it has a really short cable. They all hook up and work the same.

I don't think that will work in your situation. You have. 'Drive by wire' those are for cable operated TB's. And FWIW I have a rostra cruise and hate it! It fluctuates alot. I also have the factory set up like MARKDTN has and its awesom! But that does you no good. You need a cruise control for DBW which I don't know if there are any aftermarket companies making it. I assume you have the GMPP computer? Do you also have a transmission controller? I was thinking the GMPP computer wouldn't run a transmission. I also don't think it will support any kind of factory cruise control as I don't believe the tables are in the tune. If you are set on having cruise it may be easier to use an older factory PCM, but I honestly don't know which one to tell you to use that would work with the GMPP harness. A converted factory harness would probably work, but if you've already bought what you have I would probably just keep it.

Are you really going to drive the truck long enough distances that you will really need it? I know I use mine all the time, but just throwing it out there.

I bought the controller for the engine and the 4L85E transmission. I actually use cruise control all the time in my Suburban even on a 35MPH road. I one of those guys that just loves CC..now the wife, she won't even use it on the highway which drives me crazy. Thanks for all the help.
