Gear shift indicator

Anyone know which aftermarket company I could find a factory appearing replica shift indicator on the column for my suburban for a 4 speed auto overdrive, like a 700r4 or 4l60e? P R N O D 2 1 instead of the P R N D 2 1.
I want to keep the factory look, and I'm sure I have seen them before, I just cannot for the life of me remember who makes them. And my search efforts on the forum appear to be insufficient.

Re: Gear shift indicator

I believe all the big companies making repro parts for our trucks have an OD selector dial available. Brothers, LMC Truck, Classic, etc. There is also Ididit, who has a line of aftermarket steering columns, I think they carry selector dials too. It will probably say PRND321, with a circle around the D, rather than the way you have written it. I need one for my Burb, but I'm looking to add OD to my truck, so I'm holding off on a selector dial for mine until I upgrade the tranny(th400 to 700r4 I hope).

Good luck with your search

Re: Gear shift indicator

Sorry to hijack the thread, but are you guys using te stock column? How do you get all of the gears when it's really a 3 speed and not 4?

Re: Gear shift indicator

I guess I thought the number of stops was determined by the tranny at the end of the linkage, not the steering column itself...? I could certainly be wrong. Someone more knowledgeable should chime in at this point...

Re: Gear shift indicator

The detents are on the linkage inside the transmission

Re: Gear shift indicator

Detents are in the tranny, same amount of range, just an extra detent. LMC truck did not list a overdrive indicator. I do expect it to have a circle around the D, but there is no key on they keyboard to represent it. I will check brothers and the rest. I do not want to swap columns as it is a factory tilt.
