72 blazer hood replacement - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

hi to all, i'm new to the site here and was just wondering if a 67-68 hood will fit a 72 blazer. i was thinking of swaping out my hood for one with a cowl induction scoop , most likely a reproduction one , any brand names better than another ?

in order to put a 67-8 hood on your 72 blazer you would need to change the fenders and core support and the grill over to the 67-8 parts also basically the whole front wrap

thanks for the info , thats what i thought , but i thought i saw a picture of one on the site here somewhere .

you might have what some guys are doing is sectioning the 67-72 hoods and laying the front back to look like the 67-8 hoods
