What can be the reason why windshield wipers stops working after few minutes?
What should I check?
This is in GMC S15 truck why both wipers stops working after a few minutes of use? it stop suddenly and than after a while starts on its own??? what can be the problem and solution? Last edited by vikasintl; 09-28-2011 at 01:10 PM. |

Does the truck have intermediat(sp?) wipers?? If so the control module for the them could be bad. Or your wiper motor is on its way out. I've seen motors work until they warm up then quit. cool down, take off again. Thats my .02 worth

your truck is suicidal and wants you to not see the tree before it slams head-on into it. have a nice man to truck talk with it over a quart of 5w30. I can give you talk advice if you tell me how old he is.

Yeah depending on the year, its a very common problem. Pull the circuit board in the wiper motor housing out and resolder the larger connections. The weight of the harness bouncing around is/was enough to break the crappy cold solder joints. Posted via Mobile Device |
